Walker Bay 8 Performance Sail Kit Parts

Post by admin »

We had our Walker Bay 8 stolen last year, and with it went some of the WB8 sail kit. We've still got most of the parts of the full sail kit, but no WB8 to put them on, so they're now for sale. If you were to buy these parts from me at my asking price, and the outstanding parts from Seamark Nunn (as detailed below) you'd have the full kit for £150 + £194.46 = £344.46 which is not far off the half price mark for the full kit. Bargain!

These are the parts that I do have, that you can buy from me (all in excellent, near new condition):

Two part mast
Boom
Sail (in bag)
Dagger board

£150

Delivery, free if you can get to:

I'll drive to meet you within 20 miles (ish) of YO21 2PZ, or TQ5 0EH
Or anywhere very close to the route from North Yorkshire to Brixham, which is A64, A1, M18 M1, A42, M42, M5, A38

The outstanding parts that we don't have are available brand new from official WB8 supplier Seamark Nunn as follows (this is a recent quotation):

1.00 WB-17146 MAST SUPPORT TUBE £13.63 RRP PLUS VAT available to order
1.00 WB-23070 WB8 MAST SUPPORT CLAMP C/ £ 8.92 RRP PLUS VAT available to order
1.00 WB-24060 WB8 CentBoard dagger cap £33.50 RRP PLUS VAT DELIVERY 2-3 WEEKS
1.00 WB-17012 OPEN KEEL PLATE £ 11.66 RRP PLUS VAT DELIVERY 2-3 WEEKS
1.00 WB-26038 SEAT CLAMP ASSY BLCK £ 25.97 RRP PLUS VAT available to order
1.00 WB-17099 Ratchet Block WB 8 & 10 £61.42 RRP PLUS VAT available to order
Delivery = 6.95
Total = 162.05 + VAT = £194.46

Here's me on my first go at a) sailing a dinghy and b) sailing a WB8 with sail kit. This is one of the three times the kit was ever used:

Thanks for looking!

Hi, sorry, should have marked this off as having been sold. Well, sold is the wrong word. We practically gave them away as they were taking up space in the car. Apologies for your hassle.
