May start looking more at Victors, I really like what some people have done with them for the price, as you say a lot of boat for the price. A lot are being sold in Greece and these sorts of places, how much on average would you say it is to hire a skeleton crew to sail it to the UK from the Med. Pr...

Jeff- Says the Stuart was re-rigged in 1996, but spent only 30 months in water since....Hmmm. The cockpit size is indeed dinky, but my friend and I work with wood quite a lot, and wonder if we couldn't fashion some form of furniture additions, chairs or tables etc to fit into the cockpit and give se...

The gentle rocking and sounds of lapping - especially at night. The wildlife. Endless surprise visits by dolphins, otters, cormorants, fish, seals etc etc. The constant comings and goings on the river. The cheery waves and smiles from passing craft of all shapes and sizes. The multiple daily rowing...

Stuart 37?
Hello again, So if you've seen or followed some of the posts I've done over the last year or so, I'm looking to live aboard relatively soon, and after potentially doing my Yachtmaster early next year, from there wish to keep gleaning info on potential yachts I think are good and fit for purpose, but...

Curious, how many privately owned yachts sink every year?
Expanded version is how many are there at any one time in britain, and how many sink every year? It was just from a safety point of view and I suppose it's all relative to who owns/uses the yacht and their experience and character? One person buys a house, puts lightning protection on, buys away fro...

Hah! The Corsairs and Seahawks I see are within my range, but will keep in mind a smaller boat could suit better and I could put the saved money to other uses. Maybe internet dating, haha. But those two look so very nice for all my needs plus a bit of space for a bit more initially. Thanks again, al...

Thanks for the info. Glad the Corsair has met my expectation so well. Found another quite similar too, Westerly Seahawk? Apart from layout I cant quite tell the difference, the size and dates of the models seems as though the Seahawk was the replacement model? Jeff, you may be right though, perhaps ...

Advice on Westerly Corsair, or similar.
Hello all! I am looking to purchase my first love and so far this Westerly keeps catching my eye. I plan to live aboard and my budget is up to maxmax just over 40k. I know these boats are quite old now and see a lot of Bavarias, some from the 2000's year wise for this price but the interiors put me ...

Was considering a cheaper boat to originally be a stop gap, but instead will heed your advice and consider an initial more permanent measure. Will keep Isabella in mind, she looks stunning and has a lot of features I'm after. The Christmas picture really sells her well. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/39-...

Your Tempest looks ideal, love the Christmas picture, and she has the shower and onboard toilet which I was hoping for, but then you said St Kats has great facilities too, possibly including shower. I also caught your old Centaur pictures and while less ideal, I also saw your old asking price and th...

You're right about size, think I was missing out on some make and models that really squeeze out the space, IE ever since I searched your Westerly, i've seen 30 - 35 boats from the Tempest to the Oceanquest to the Corsair, and while both the Ocean and Corsair are around the 35ft area, will that extr...
