6th September 2010 - Some movies and photos

Post by Jeff »

Here's some movies and photos we took during our passage from Lowestoft to Scarborough - Whitby arrival shots coming later as we're still gathering them from everyone who watched us in...

(NB. We tend to forget to video or photo the most important phases of passages because they're the times we're most preoccupied (aka 'scared'). Apologies for the bad soundtrack also - options on the FM were limited!)

Lowestoft to Scarborough Part 1. Setting off:

Lowestoft to Scarborough Part 2. The first morning after our first night passage:

Lowestoft to Scarborough Part 3. Lunar doesn't like oil rigs:

Working out how, and succeeding to winch 'Dink' aboard
This is a handy thing to be able to do if a marina insists we don't have a tender off the back, and also acts as a waterproof cover over our bedroom hatch so we can leave it open for ventilation even when it's tipping it down - something that last winter would have resulted in far less condensation issues.
