12th October 2009 - Safe haven for winter 2010 is found.

Couple of phone calls, and we've now found a place to stay during autumn/winter 2010, from just before, to the period of time after the wedding. We had initially thought we'd have to keep the boat in Hartlepool Marina while we sorted out the wedding and spent time with our friends and family in the Whitby area - which would have been fine, but a bit of a commute (probably an hour or so) each way... but I've now found a place to stay in Whitby so long as we get lifted out for the winter. Had previously thought we couldn't stay in Whitby as the marina there can't guarantee any depth due to 'rapid silting', but obviously if we get lifted out it solves that.

So most likely, if we make it that far, this is where we'll be spending winter 2010:

Not entirely sure at this stage exactly how we're going to get in and out of Isabella on a daily basis with Lunar while on land. She's not big but is rather wriggly when you least want her to be. I'm sure we'll be able to figure something out.
