Certainly will do thanks, looking at a shakedown in the Wash and put into Wells to make sure all is well, then an overnight passage should see me a fair way into the journey, by which time I'll need a shower so it's a case of find a marina and dive in :D

A Centaur may be an old tub, but one has just completed the Jester challenge and is on his way back now. Great boats, just not as good as a Debutante

The East coast seems to come out better in loads of ways, but when it comes to work on the boat I prefer to do it myself if I can. Never trusted a boat yard since seeing some of the standards that they think are acceptable

Sixpence is a 21ft Debutante, and one is alledged to have made it across the Atlantic. Very seaworthy boat, well worth looking out for one. Due to set off on her maiden voyage, 175nm, at an average of 3kn, so quite a trip for me

Zat you James ? :o Bendyone beat me to it :D

Having watched my Birchwood lifted out, I launched Sixpence down a ramp, neither of which had a good feel about it. Think I'll just leave her in now :D

Looks very nice, launching soon ?

More than happy to post a picture of Sixpence, recently launched after spending over a year working on saving her
