Thanks for that, that's brilliant! He's really captured the essence of cats. Genius!

Hi Dave - ah, some nice days out on your lovely boat, excellent!

So what's the plan then next for Sixpence? You going to get a mooring somewhere where you can more easily access some sailing? Or stay on the canal?

Their "Yachts" look more like motor cruisers to me. Do you mean "yacht" or "motor cruiser"?

Fantastic service from Chris Scanes. Sail is beautiful, fits perfectly. Not had chance to try it out yet though - wind was nasty and gusty last couple of days and I didn't want to get it out in that.

Unbelievably, I've just been called to be told that both of my sails are ready! Collecting on monday.

Can't believe how quick that was!

Sail repairs and replacements.

My mainsail ripped along a seem a few weeks ago. I started to fix it by hand using the existing holes, but after repairing about 3 feet of it, and realising I was only halfway through the job after 7 hours at it, and with cramp beginning in my hands - I realised that almost every seem needed oversew...

It's definitely rain. It's dripping in around the corners of the hatch when it rains, and not when it doesn't. No need to trace it. Just can't figure how the water is wrapping around the edge of the perspex sliding cover, and flowing under it then IN. Specially as it mostly doesn't do it, just somet...

Definitely not condensation hehe. It's dripping in at quite a rate on occasion.

You're maybe onto something with the wind direction thing. Guess I'll just have to cover it with a bit of tarp when I'm away. Not too big a deal really.

Cheers.

Leaky Companionway Hatch.

I've got a weird problem for you. Have had my yacht for coming up to 10 months now, and it has never leaked around the hatch at all... until now. Nothing's changed! It comes off the perspex sliding hatch roof and drips at the corners. Having to use a sheet of plastic tarp to stop it when I leave the...

I love both. My fave is cod (out of cod/haddock choice) in a chippy.
